Looking on google and I stumbled on this beast, I cant wait when they release a diesel version and do a setup like this.
*edit* I know this is a scrambler, but it would look pretty much the same

You will see more and more of the Gladiators setup like this in the future. This truck will probably be the most modded one on ever!

I can only imagine the aftermarket products/ installation business that will be spawned over Gladiator. It could be one cool lifted rig done properly.
Interesting to note: Besides the initial gas powered Pentastar 3.6, The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine will be available starting in 2020.
Apparently it is rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb ft. of torque.
An eight-speed automatic transmission ya now were talking, & it will handle the increased torque output.

Nice pic! Wonder what the fuel consumption would average around on something like that. :D

That's what is amazing to me, is the torque it gets. The towing that it will be able to do with a v6! That's crazy!

FCA is working on a turbocharged small displacement inline 6 motor. I would love to see that make its way into the Gladiator and mated up to the 8 speed.

I read that recently as well. Smaller displacement than the old 4.0/4.2 but with a single or dual turbo it could produce pretty decent power/TQ and still post some reasonable MPG ratings. Should be interesting to see what they come up with.

Heard it was supposed to be out in 2020. Might be wrong though.

My thoughts exactly. Good power and should offer good mpg. Plus the reliability of a straight 6!
