Yup it is the V-6, I hope the diesel does much better, but cost of one is going to be pricy.
As I found out with my current rig, Once you add your own larger kevlar tires, heavier skids, throw in the family and load the Jeep up, fuel mileage goes down big time.
We are back to now asking what is the maximum range Of the JT loaded?
We may need extra Gerry cans for extended range, off road trips.
My KJ 19.5 gallon tank, max range is only 240 miles on a good day. Loaded up better carry a few!

The Gladiator gets just under a 22 gallon tank. Grand Cherokee 25 gal tank. JT needs 25 gal !

^ This is what I've been saying, with the V6 already not the best in fuel economy, and the Gladiator being very heavy (dry) and not having a larger fuel tank option, your real world range will be terrible!

My Ram w/5.7L is rated at 15 City/21 Hwy/17 Combined, and my actual is actually a bit higher even with 4 adults and a weeks worth of luggage in the bed (with Corsa exhaust and well used skinny peddle). I have the 32 Gal fuel tank option so my range is longer than my passengers ability to not need a bathroom stop (did a 850 mile run from PA to KY with only 1 stop).

This Gladiator is just a few options shy of being a valid Truck replacement to my Ram. IMO needs the 32 Gal. tank option, AirRide or some load leveling capability, and a better (power & economy) motor. Would be nice with a 5.7L w/eTorque system!

Just be Thankful that you have reasonably priced fuel!
West Coast Canada has the highest gas prices in North America !
I filled with 94 last week of about 16 gallons and it was about $140 !!!

Around here everyone is now looking for electric vehicles only, I wonder why..
I'm still keeping my Jeep...Just drive it less...

    The US $ is currently worth 25 % more than a Canuck buck. 8 $ CAN x 25% -= $ 6 US $.

Ethanol free & I have a travel trailer & or a boat to pull in the mountains.
I wonder if a small jet ski could fit in the bed ? (That would make for a cool photo)
Or how about trying to get two 650 street bikes in the bed w/ ramps one day as well??
