    I think the biggest complaint is 4 Lock doesn't actually lock, it still acts/performs like 4 auto. Also With that the amount of rear wheel spin required before it engages the front wheels is undesirable.....I have noticed it on my truck in snow where turning i can have a good fish tail and feel out of control before the front wheels kick in.

    I personally think it's just nice to be able to engage it manually.

    yes, but imo not fast enough. The transfer case on my 2011 with auto 4wd was great compared to this one.
